IoB: Internet of Bubbles is an interactive artwork that reads a real-time stock market index chart and transforms it into a soap bubble stream. While economic bubbles bring great energy and excitement as they inflate, they always run the risk of sudden bursts. At the same time, a stock market is fluctuating day by day with the interaction of world affairs and various speculations. The components of this work are a program that streams real-time data of the stock index Nikkei 225, a raspberry pi that distributes the numerical range of stock prices and sends a signal to the machines, and two bubble machines marked with "+ "and"-". When the stock price goes up, soap bubbles blow out from the + machine, and from the - machine when the stock price goes down.

This artwork was presented at Maker Faire Tokyo 2018.
